I am looking forward to working with your child this year. The following information is provided to you for your convenience and reference during the school year. Please read through the information so that you will have a better understanding of the routine and the procedures used in our classroom. Working together we can make a difference in your child's education.
School Schedule
*Bell rings at 7:55AM
*Should your child arrive after the 8:10AM tardy bell, please go to the office to get a tardy slip
*School is dismiss at 3:00PM on regular days and 12:00PM on short days
*after 15 minutes, if your child is not picked up they will be waiting for you in daycare
Homework
*it is given on Monday and should be turned in on Friday
*Please read with your child 10 minutes every night
*Practice high frequency words on the homework folder
Dress Code
*Please refer to the parent handbook
*Every child in the Kindergarten class should be in full school uniform at all times
*I would like my class to set the example for the rest of the school and it teaches the students to be responsible but I can only do it with your help
PE
*Every Friday
* wear PE clothes to school
*except the First Friday of every month because the school has Mass
* On the first Friday of every month please bring PE clothes in a bag with student's name on the bag
Mass
*Every first Friday of the month School Mass
*about every 4 weeks Mass with 4th and 8th grade
*the last Sunday of every month Family Mass
Nap Time
*From 12;30-1:30
*Students may bring a small blanket or beach towel for the week
Snacks
*Approximately every 6 weeks your child is responsible for supplying healthy snacks for 32 students
*A calendar for September was send home on the first day of school
*A calendar for October will be send home at the end of September
No Conferences without an appointment
No Conferences while students are being dismiss
